At In-Depth, we conduct comprehensive building inspections with a clear focus on classifying all findings to assist buyers, owners, and investors in making informed decisions. Each issue is grouped into categories: Major Defects, Minor Defects, Safety Hazards, or Non-Compliance Issues—ensuring nothing is overlooked.

How we take care of it
Our Inspections Include (but are not limited to):

Full assessment of the property’s interior, exterior, roof space, subfloor (where accessible), and site.

Identification and photographic documentation of defects or issues.

Clear categorisation and recommendations for repair or further evaluation

Defects may include but are not limited to identifying corrosion/rust, water ingress, roof inspections (cracked roof tiles etc), deterioration of gutters, exposed/compromised electrical wires, inadequate draining, balustrades not complying to Safety Standards. Photos will be captured & recommendations are included in the detailed report.

The building inspection report will include a detailed description of any issues or potential problems found during the inspection, along with recommendations for repairs or further evaluation.
How We Classify Findings:

Major Defects: Serious structural or functional issues affecting integrity or usability, such as subsidence, roof damage, or significant water ingress.

Minor Defects: Low-risk or cosmetic concerns including minor cracks, scuffs, or loose fixtures.

Safety Hazards: Issues posing risk of injury such as exposed wiring, loose balustrades, or uneven surfaces.

Non-Compliance Issues: Items not meeting current building codes or standards, such as inadequate drainage, unsafe stairs, or outdated installations.
Our Reports Cover (include but are not limited to):

Structural: Foundations, walls, ceilings, floors, roof framing—checked for cracks, sagging, and movement.

Plumbing: Visible pipework, taps, fixtures, and drainage for leaks, corrosion, or failures.

Electrical: Safety of switchboards, outlets, visible wiring, and lighting.

Interiors: Doors, windows, walls, floors, cabinetry—assessed for wear, damage, or moisture.

Externals: Roofing, gutters, cladding, paint, balconies, sheds, and garages.

Site: Driveways, paths, retaining walls, fencing, drainage, and general landscape condition.
All findings are documented with supporting photos and expert recommendations to guide decision-making, risk management, and long-term maintenance planning.
